System features

Nitrate-selective resin

Anion-exchange resin captures nitrate ahead of other ions to reduce it at every tap.

Salt regeneration

The bed recharges with standard softener salt, metered by measured usage.

Setup, diagnostics, and programmable cycles run from your phone.

Demand-based metering

A metered valve regenerates only when the bed needs it, saving salt and water.

Low, predictable upkeep

No cartridge to swap; keep the brine tank stocked and the valve does the rest.

Long-life build

Lifetime tank warranty and 10-year valve and electronics coverage.

Overview

About this system

The Bluetooth Nitrate Extraction System reduces nitrate in household and light commercial water using a nitrate-selective ion-exchange resin, regenerated on demand with ordinary salt and managed by a Bluetooth metered control valve. It installs as a dedicated stage alongside an existing water softener rather than replacing it.

How it works

Nitrate-selective resin, salt-regenerated on demand

Water passes through a bed of nitrate-selective resin that exchanges chloride for nitrate, capturing nitrate ahead of other ions even in waters with competing minerals. A metered Bluetooth valve tracks usage and regenerates the bed with brine only when it is needed, and programmable backwash cycles rinse and resettle the resin so flow and capacity stay consistent over time.

Life with the system

Consistent water, day to day

Once it is dialed in, the system runs quietly in the background and regenerates on its own schedule, so treated water is simply there when you turn on the tap.

Installation & support

From water test to long-term care

System installed by the local 360 Water team
A clean, professional install by our local 360 Water team.

What It Needs

Space for a resin tank and a separate brine tank, a drain line, and a standard electrical outlet for the control valve. Keep the brine tank supplied with salt.

Installed by our team

Our local team handles the installation. Installation is quoted after your water analysis.

Support That Answers

Reach a real person by phone, text, or chat for setup, sizing, and service questions.

Low-Touch Ownership

No cartridge to replace. Keep salt in the brine tank and let the metered valve schedule regeneration and backwash on its own.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the tank made of?

A fiberglass-reinforced composite pressure vessel with a durable plastic liner.

Is a special type of salt required for regeneration?

No. Use standard water-softener salt, ideally high-purity evaporated pellets or solar salt crystals. Avoid rock salt, since its impurities can create sludge in the brine tank.

Can I buy just the nitrate tank if I already own a softener? Is there a cartridge to replace?

The system is a complete two-tank unit (a tall nitrate-resin tank and a brine tank) and is not sold as a single tank, since both are required to operate. It runs alongside your existing softener as its own nitrate stage. There is no cartridge to swap; the resin lasts many years, and a free bottle of ResKleen resin cleaner is included. Ask us about 7 GPM vs 15 GPM sizing and plumbing order.

Does this system reduce water pressure?

Only a small, normal pressure drop when sized correctly. Choose the 7 GPM or 15 GPM build to match your home.

Do I need to remineralize the water afterward?

No. Unlike reverse osmosis, this system targets nitrate without demineralizing the water, so no remineralization step is required.

Does this add sodium chloride to the water?

No. It uses a chloride-form anion resin that exchanges nitrate for chloride, so it does not add sodium the way a traditional softener does. That keeps sodium content unchanged, which matters for low-sodium diets.

Not sure this is the right system?

Bluetooth Control & Monitoring From Your Phone

Your softener is built to run on its own. When you want to check in, open the app on your phone and connect to the system over Bluetooth for a clear view of how it is performing, how much water your home is using, and roughly how much salt is left in the tank. The settings you may actually want are right there, and nothing else asks for your attention.

Your whole system, on one screen

Connect from anywhere in the house and see exactly how your softener is working. No installer visit, no control panel, no guesswork.

  • See it at a glance

Current water flow, soft water remaining, and today's usage together in one view.

  • Never wonder how much salt is left

Optional salt tracking keeps an approximate level for you and can alert you when it runs low.

  • Set up once, then relax

Your installer programs the system at setup. The app is there for the few things you may ever want to change.

What you can do from your phone

Monitor your softener

See current water flow, soft water remaining, and system status in one clear dashboard.

Track your salt

Optional salt tracking shows about how much is left in the brine tank, with a low salt alert when supported.

View water usage

Daily gallons, peak flow, and usage history show how your household actually uses water.

Easy regeneration control

Start a regeneration yourself, or let the system handle it automatically based on your water use.

Adjust basic settings

Sync the time, set your water hardness, and choose a regeneration time that suits your household.

System history

Total gallons treated, cycle history, and performance records stay available whenever you want them.

How it works

01

Connect

Open the app while you are near the system and select it from the list.

02

Monitor

Check your dashboard for water flow, remaining capacity, daily usage, and salt level.

03

Manage

Adjust a basic setting or start a regeneration on the rare occasion you need to.

Simple to use. Easy to monitor.

Your softener is designed to operate automatically. The app simply gives you a convenient way to view your system and reach the basic controls from your phone. There is nothing to watch day to day and nothing to adjust once your system is set up.

Advanced settings are configured at installation for your specific system and are best left at their recommended values.

Your installer or water professional can keep their service details in the app, so you always know who to contact if you need assistance.

App features require a Bluetooth enabled system and a phone within Bluetooth range of the softener. Salt level tracking is an optional convenience feature and does not affect how the softener operates. Screen shown is an illustration.
