Overview
About this system
A salt-free whole-home combo: a salt-free conditioner paired with a non-electric carbon filter. It reduces chlorine, chloramine, taste, and odor and conditions hard water so scale resists forming, all with no salt, no electricity, and no drain. Add an optional sediment pre-filter when you need it. Proudly American-made.
How it works
Two salt-free stages, one whole-home system
Water is treated at the main line in two stages, both running on your water pressure alone.
Non-Electric Carbon Filter
A blended bed of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), Catalytic Carbon, and KDF-55 reduces chlorine, chloramine, VOCs, pesticides, and many everyday chemical impurities. Upflow and non-electric, so there is no backwash, drain, or power required. Engineered for maximum performance and durability, it is a cost-effective way to improve water quality at every tap.
Salt-Free Conditioning
Salt-free media conditions calcium and magnesium so they resist forming scale on pipes, fixtures, glassware, and appliances, without salt and without removing your water's minerals.
Optional Sediment Pre-Filter
Add a 5-micron sediment pre-filter from the dropdown to capture sand, silt, and rust up front, protecting the system and your plumbing and keeping the carbon bed working at peak efficiency.

Sizing
Which flow rate is right for you?
Flow rate (GPM, gallons per minute) is the peak whole-home demand this system supplies without a pressure drop, at every tap at once. Match it to your home's size and busiest moments.
- 10 GPM. Sized for smaller homes with 1 to 2 bathrooms and roughly 1 to 3 people. Comfortably runs a shower and a sink at the same time.
- 15 GPM. Our most popular size, for 3 to 4 bathrooms and about 3 to 5 people. Handles two showers plus another fixture running together.
- 20 GPM. For larger homes with 4 or more bathrooms and 5 or more people, or heavy simultaneous use. Holds full pressure even with several showers and appliances running at once.
Not sure? A shower uses about 2.5 GPM and a kitchen faucet about 2.2 GPM, so count the fixtures that might run at once. When you are between sizes, size up for steadier pressure across the whole home. Tell us your number of bathrooms and we will size it right.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is this a water softener?
No. It pairs a salt-free conditioner with a non-electric carbon filter. The conditioner changes how hardness minerals behave so they resist forming scale, rather than removing them, so there is no salt and your water keeps its natural minerals. If you want true soft water with complete hardness removal, a salt-based softener is the better fit.
What does the “Add a Filter” option do?
It adds a 5-micron sediment pre-filter ahead of the system to capture sand, silt, and rust, which is helpful for homes with visible grit or older plumbing. Choose “Add Sediment Pre-Filter” in the dropdown and the price updates automatically.
What does the system reduce, and what does it not do?
The carbon stage reduces chlorine, chloramine, and the tastes and odors they carry, along with many common chemical impurities, while the salt-free stage conditions hard water against scale. It does not soften water in the traditional sense, and it is not a fluoride or drinking-water polishing system. For crisp drinking water, pair it with a reverse osmosis system.
Who is this combo best for?
City-water homes that want cleaner, better-tasting water and scale protection at every tap with the lowest possible maintenance, and that prefer a fully salt-free, no-drain, no-power setup.
Not sure this is the right system?
