Better-Tasting, Better-Smelling City Water
Cut the chlorine taste and musty odor whole-home, then finish with bottled-quality water at the kitchen tap.

Why this matters
Off taste and odor in city water usually trace back to the chlorine or chloramine disinfectant, plus trace organic compounds picked up along the way. Carbon filtration removes them across the whole home, and a reverse osmosis system polishes your drinking water to bottled quality at the sink.
Signs you might have this problem
- A chlorine or pool taste and smell
- A musty, earthy, or moldy odor
- Flat, dull coffee, tea, or ice
- Water you would rather filter before drinking

Installation & maintenance
Carbon filters install at the main line with a drain nearby and backwash themselves, no cartridges. The RO system installs under the kitchen sink with its own faucet. RO filters are replaced roughly every 6 to 12 months and the membrane every few years. Professional installation available in Austin and surrounding areas.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need whole-home carbon, or just an RO at the sink?
If the taste or smell bothers you in the shower and laundry too, use whole-home carbon. If you only care about drinking water, an under-sink RO is enough. Many homes do both.
Will carbon remove the smell for good?
Yes, as long as the media is fresh. The smart models track media life so you replace it before odor returns.
Does RO take out the good minerals?
RO removes nearly everything, including minerals. If you prefer mineral taste, add the alkaline remineralization stage.
Not sure what you have?
Do not guess. A water test tells us what is actually in your water and helps us confirm the right system for your home.
